Every Saturday, for the entire month of December, we will be serving up delicious hot chocolate for our valued hotel guests. Starting at 1:30pm, you make your way to our beautifully decorated luxury hotel lobby in Old Montreal to try Juliette & Chocolat’s famous velvety thick hot chocolate. Juliette & Chocolat is a restaurant-chocolaterie specializing in decadent desserts: from intensely chocolatey brownies to fondues and more. Cité mémoire is a new addition representing one of the largest urban lighting installations in the world. Witness Montreal’s iconic history projected on the walls of Old Montreal’s French inspired buildings. Let the app guide you through the cobblestone streets and watch history come to life!

Cité Mémoire is available in winter on Fridays and Saturdays when the night falls.

Head towards the St. Lawrence to see the famous Jacques-Cartier Bridge illuminated. Created by Montreal’s very own Moment Factory for Montreal ‘s 375th Anniversary,, this wondrous light show changes colours depending on the season and is a must-see!

Montreal’s fifth edition of Lights Over Old Montreal comprises 14 different Christmas displays spread across the old port until January 5th 2023. These include jaw dropping illuminated sculptures, christmas trees and more. Check out this map to ensure you catch them all. We highly recommend taking a spin on the highest observation wheel in Canada in our very own Old Port. Reaching a height of 60 metres, every 20-minute rotation offers 360-degree views that span 28 kilometres on a clear day. That’s right, not even the snow can stop you from enjoying the views. La Grande Roue de Montréal can be easily located in the Old Port as it is fully illuminated at night. Le Saint-Sulpice Hotel Montreal is celebrating its 20th anniversary!

Yes, the hotel is celebrating its 20th anniversary! Already 20 years since the hotel opened its doors to the general public and we have the pleasure of welcoming cguets from all over the world every year! We are also fortunate to be able to count on a loyal clientele who like to stay in our establishment and who come back year after year. So, on behalf of the whole team, I say THANK YOU! Thank you for allowing us to exist and for trusting us by choosing our boutique hotel for your stay in the heart of Old Montreal.

Unfortunately, the pandemic and the many health restrictions still in place at the start of the year did not allow us to celebrate our 20th anniversary as we would have liked in the spring. In order to underline this special event for our hotel, we have decided to extend this anniversary by offering you surprises throughout the coming months… and this until our 21st!

Since we launched our signature SoSulpice! in 2019, we try to regularly share local discoveries with you, such as local flavors, Montreal traditions, businesses, artisans and even Montreal artists.

To celebrate our 20th anniversary, what could be more festive than tasting the famous colorful and tasty cupcakes from our partner Les Glaceurs! Renowned for being the best in Montreal, we are lucky to count them among our neighbours.

Juliette & Chocolat is a well-established family business specializing in chocolate and its many variations that you can discover in one of their restaurant-boutique. To mark our 20th anniversary, we have revisited our in-house lotus flower perfume bottles. Our sweet fragrance that perfumes the lobby is still a great success, even after 20 years! Many customers regularly ask us to be able to buy it and it’s done! From December 1, you will once again be able to purchase the hotel perfume in a very beautiful box to bring it safely to your home.
